I return to Valensole every year, scouting the most cinematic locations and perfect lighting to create images filled with softness, joy, and color. Each session is personally directed, fully styled, and guided from start to finish.

Each session is timed to capture Provence in its most ethereal light — at sunrise or sunset, when the lavender glows and the fields feel almost unreal.
Drawing on years of experience and deep local knowledge, I select only the most beautiful dates during the peak bloom.

  • - Where should I come to get to a photo session with you?
    The lavender fields are located near the picturesque village of Valensole, in the heart of Provence. Most guests stay in Valensole or nearby towns such as Manosque. If needed, we can arrange pickup directly from your hotel on the day of the session.
    For international travelers, the closest airports are Marseille (MRS) and Nice (NCE) — both offer easy access to the region by car.
  • - What time will the photo session take place?
    You can choose between a sunrise or sunset session, depending on your preference and availability. These are the moments when the light is softest and the fields are at their most magical — ideal for creating timeless images. Daytime sessions are possible, though golden hour is always recommended for the best results.
  • - How many clothing options will we have time to change? How many fields will we visit? What can we do in an hour?
    Each one-hour session allows for two outfit changes and visits to several carefully selected field locations. As a local, I scout the most beautiful and photogenic spots ahead of time — ensuring variety and stunning scenery. In addition to lavender, we may include sunflower fields (mid-July), wheat fields, or rapeseed fields, depending on the timing of your shoot and bloom conditions.
  • - What should I wear? Do you help with styling?
    Yes — I provide styling guidance before the session. Flowing dresses, soft fabrics, and natural tones work beautifully in lavender.
    You can bring your own outfits, or I can suggest local rental options. I’ll also help you choose the best sequence if you plan multiple looks.
  • - I’ve never done a photoshoot before. Will you guide me?
    Absolutely. Most of my clients are not models — and that’s the beauty of it.
    I’ll guide you through natural, flattering poses and create a relaxed atmosphere so you feel confident and beautiful throughout.
  • - What should I do to book a photo shoot?
    - Date reservation takes place on 30% prepayment. Leave a request on the site, or write me in instagram @polinainprovence I will send you the details for the payment of the shooting.
  • We’ll be in Provence after July 10. Would it still be possible to plan a photoshoot with you, and which locations would you recommend?
    If your travel dates no longer align with the best moment in Valensole, there may still be a chance to create beautiful lavender images in Sault. Since Sault is located at a higher altitude, the season there often comes slightly later, offering another lovely window for lavender photography in Provence.
